Wow, things change quickly!

I can't believe how things can change so quickly :( Actually I did know this, but I guess when it isn't happening to you it isn't as bad :( I am not sure what to think?????
I have what I thought was a bug bite on my neck/back and I went to the doctor last week for it and she was pretty sure it was't Lyme disease and thought it was some type of a bite, but it wasn't infected or anything, so she gave me some type of cream for itching and pain...so I used it...well within a day I found a lump on the back of my neck near the mark, then within another day I found another lump near my collar bone...now it is the weekend and I am worried...so I scheduled with the doctor and got in today...well she said it might be LYME disease, but she doens't think so...she is calling a specialist about the swollen lymph node on my collar bone plus I have to have a bunch of tests done :( She thinks that the lump on my neck is a cyst and it will resolve on its own or she will drain it...but the one on my collar bone is bothering her and she isn't sure what to think...I have all the testing on THURSDAY so I guess I won't know until Friday or so...I HATE waiting and worrying :( Then I had Abby to the doctor for a yearly physical and they heard a heart murmur and she has to have an electrocardiogram and also they are monitoring her spine that seems to have a curvature :( Nothing major, but all the same, she is my child and I don't want anything to be wrong with her :( I am such a worrier and this is making me CRAZY!

On a lighter note I had my yardsale and did pretty good...got a clean house and made a few extra bucks too :) I am thinking about Dave and I taking a small vacation to the beach in Delaware in August if I can decided what to do with my kids for 3 days :) We will see what happens...Dave is still laid off and we have heard so many things about the company right up to it might shut down, but NOTHING OFFICIAL. SO we are still waiting and wondering ????

It's AMAZING how.....

TIME FLIES! I mean before I knew it the kids were done with school for the summer and now I have my 2 week break for summer and WOW, the Laurel Festival in town is over and here we are almost into JULY! I must admit I am ready for MY KIDS to go back to school...they are BORED everyday and I can't stand the nagging...I mean they have a house full and yard full of TOYS :) They really don't have to be BORED :( they just CHOOSE to be :) With Dave being laid off, we don't have a lot of extra money to do a bunch of things...we have been trying to hit the drive in every other weekend and going fishing too :) But the minute we get home, they are ready to go again and are BORED again! Grrrrr!
I am really THINKING pool and a fence :) They both sound great of course I could do with the POOL and no fence, but the fence would be great too!
It is hard with Dave being laid off :( With no hope of going back I mean we are okay, but we only have health insurance for so long and once that runs out we have NOTHING :( that is going to suck, I am the one who uses it too :( I get allergy shots every week and I have high blood pressure....YIKES! I try not to worry too much, I am HOPING that they re-hire after summer and it would be nice to sit back RELAX and ENJOY a summer off, but it is hard to do that with NO POSITIVE FUTURE!
I cannot believe how long it has been since I have BLOGGED...it is SAD! I haven't done much scrapbooking either...now that I am working on my yardsale for the end of this week, everything is getting put on the back burner :) Oh well I have lots of extra time to scrapbook and make cards :)
Well I am going to have a fudgecicle and play some bejeweled blitz on facebook :)

LIFE........

You know I can HONESTLY SAY now that "I KNOW WHY PEOPLE are LOSING EVERYTHING THAT THEY HAVE" in this economy...my hubby is NOW LAID OFF, unknown if he will go back, we won't get an unemployment check until the END of the month, so we got his last pay check just on THURSDAY and there are 5 of us, so we have that little amount of money to work with until the end of the month, actually they said and get this "THERE SHOULD BE MONEY IN YOUR ACCOUNT ON THE 27th" I was like WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU THINK? can I not get a FOR SURE DATE?...I mean this is just plain CRAZY :( I did apply for assistance and of course so did and has everyone and their brother, so that is SLOW...so right now I am buying food to get by and holding on to that last little bit of cash that we have right now, until I see more...YES I have bills to pay, but I am afraid to pay them and then have no FOOD to feed my kids :( I live in a small town in PA and it seems as tho I have seen this on the news for that past couple of years and it just seemed to NOT BE HERE, where I was and NOW it is finally hitting and there are NO JOBS...I am going to COLLEGE and my dilema, DO I QUIT and get a shitty part time burger flippin' job or stay in COLLEGE and try and make it thru? I mean I am schooling so that I don't have to go get another shitty job....GOSH I DON'T know and it seems as tho NO ONE DOES :(

On a lighter note I MADE the DEANS LIST from my first set of classes at college and have maintained a 3.75 grade point average, so I have stayed on the Deans list the entire time :) Now this ALGEBRA that I am taking now, might bring me down :( I am struggling so bad with it...I can do it but then I cannot remember it after a period of time and that sucks, cause I have finals on it, so RIGHT now I have a rolodex system on how to solve EVERY ALGEBRA problem that I have come across :) SO we will see how it goes :) ALGEBRA and I have NEVER GOTTEN ALONG :)

We have had a super busy and fun filled weekend too...we took the kids to the drive in, we had a bogo coupon and it only cost us $20 to go and we ONLY BOUGHT POPCORN, so we stayed on a pretty tight budget...I mean you CAN'T go thru life and do NOTHING, so anyway we saw Hannah Montana the Movie and 17 AGAIN, both GREAT MOVIES :) I loved them and we went to our DRIVE-IN, yes we are FORTUNATE enough to have a DRIVE IN :) it is awesome to go and sit out on a blanket in the warm weather and watch movies under the stars :) here is the link to our local drive in and we are like 3 miles away from it, so it is AWESOME :)



Very nice place and the OWNER is GREAT! I just hope that we can keep it GOING :) It is just awesome to still have one so close by :)

Then yesterday morning our LIONS CLUB and other sponsers had a FISHING EVENT at our WATER/DAM/PARK for kids 8-noon and even tho none of my kids caught a fish, they still had a blast and the weather was pretty reasonable for us, a little rain, but nothing to have to leave about :) Here are a few pictures of my crew fishing :)

Okay well that pretty much tops off the past few days of my life and what it has been like for the past couple of weeks...so WISH me LUCK on the unemployment situation and also keep us in your prayers, my hubbys uncle is sick and dying...he is just elderly and has problems, but losing anyone for any reason is a shock :(

Layoff, Flu, and so much more........

Where to start? Hmmmmm, let me see.

Well since this is what is bothering me the MOST let us start with it...my hubby got laid off...now I know that this has been going on now for quite sometime, and I know that people have been suffering...we are not the first ones that will suffer, but HOW in the HECK do you do it? I guess unemployment ONLY pays like 1/2 of what you made, I work part time and go to college, my income will help, but it isn't gonna do a whole lot I bring home $300 a month :) so I don't know, maybe go in and trade for a smaller more economical vehicle, we just bought our van last year brand spankin' new off the lot, our first ever BRAND NEW VEHICLE, not even a year old...I am not so sure that is a good idea, maybe wait a bit and only do that if we absolutely have to, we are already using just ONE CAR...our house payment HAS to be paid, our INSURANCES have to be paid, we have to FEED our kids, I really in the worst kind of way need MEDICAL COVERAGE, I am an asmathtic and need my meds and I have High Blood Pressure and need my meds...I am in the middle of allergy shots...good grief...I am sure I can get medical cards for the kids :) or at least I am HOPING I CAN...I mean I don't know...maybe I just need to SIT BACK and THINK ABOUT IT ALL LONG and HARD :)

I do know that it is making me CRAZY :(

I am starting my 4 session of college and I am doing College Algebra with Graphing...I am not so sure about it...LOL...I am kind of already CONFUSED...LOL

Also this darn sickness that keeps getting closer to me in PA and keeps spreading and people are so sickly and dying oh my...I currently have two of my 3 kids at home with fevers and flu like symptoms...both have been to the doctor and diagnosed with just the FLU, but what if it is this crazy swine flu :( I am pretty sure it isn't, but you just never know...how about an article that I read somewhere that said to have a 10 day supply of food and water for your family just in case we were all quarantined to our homes in case of an outbreak...now does that scare the crap out of you or what :( GOOD GRIEF....no wonder I am stressed beyond stess...LOL

I am going to do some scrappin' now that I said all that crap...Oh and I deFUNKified my house with BLEACH WATER and LYSOL...KITCHEN, BATHROOM, and all my dishes through the dishwasher with a little bleach added to the dish washing liquid...so hopefully if I do that daily we could possibly keep germs away :) we will see :)

I have to admit........

that I don't get to blog as much as I want to. It just seems as tho I am too busy :( It does make me feel better tho to write about stuff that I have done :) I also follow a lot of really great blogs and wish that I had more time to read them :)

I have made some really cute bears, cards, and I am now making tear bear dresses :)

SO yes I have been busy creating :) The bear is EXTRA fluffy and layered :) the dresses are made out of ribbon :) and the cards are Easter cards for family :)

Tomorrow I am spending the entire day (with the exception of running my pre schooler to and from school) on school work, I have been NEGLECTING it and not getting what I should out of it :( I am already into pre finals :( SO I have to get my butt on the ball and get busy, so that is what tomorrow is going to consist of.

I wanted to watch the new season of RESCUE ME tonight on FX and indeed I did, but right before I went to watch it, my dad called and he told me that my sister and my baby nephew are moving to FLORIDA :( that is like so far away and she has no money, and will have no job, she has a loser of a boyfriend with no job, they are supposed to be moving with the boyfriends sister and I think the sister just wants the baby, she has 5 kids and only has custody of 1 of them and she wants a baby and can't have one :( I am so upset...My sister and I are all each other has (I mean I have my family) but my sister has no one, our mom died suddenly a few years ago and there is just no one and ever since my mom died, my sister just can't seem to make ONE RIGHT DECISION :( I can't help her financially, I have my own family with a hubby and 3 kids, but darn it I don't want her to leave, I am too poor to go there to see her and she won't have a job and will never have the money to see me :( GOOD GRIEF...I don't know what to do!

Well I guess I will hope that tomorrow is better...I should be in bed right now, but can't sleep :(

Have a great week everyone and a wonderful EASTER HOLIDAY...the kids and I have lots planned, egg hunts, coloring eggs, a trip to our drive in to see the new monster vs aliens movie and hotel for dogs, and easter dinner at my grams :) SO much fun :)

Been Busy....

Well I haven't been blogging for a while, I have been so busy I guess that I forgot about blogging :( MY BAD! Actually I am going to blame facebook for not blogging, I have been hanging out on there :) If you want to be friends I am Tammy McAninch Miller on there :) It is a pretty neat place...I was using myspace, but then some friends talked about facebook and I thought HEY I gotta check it out :) so I did and that is where I have been :)
I do have some new things to share tho :)






Those will all be up for sale on ebay this week :) I have them scheduled to list thru thursday :) April 2nd :)

Another thing that I was wondering is...does anyone out there write in a journal daily? If so, how do you remember to do it, like my problem is, I don't have enough time in the day to do EVERYTHING that I want to get done anyway and I always forget to write in my journal and then when I do I play catch up :( I would like to make it a MUST to DO every night, like before bed, maybe :)

Oh I almost forgot I went to my first gun raffle this weekend :) and it was so much fun :) LOL...I didn't win a thing, but had a good time...it was at my husbands fire company :) and I knew all the guys :) But it was just fun fun fun...can you tell I don't get out much? LOL :)

I had a sitter for the kids and they had fun :) too :)
